A boy caught a bird one day and decided to test the wisdom of the wise old man in the village. He went and saw the wise old man. Keeping the bird in his hand behind his back, he asked, “Wise old man, I have a bird in my hand. Is it dead or alive?”
Of course the wise old man knew that if he told the boy the bird is alive, he would squeeze it to death and if he said the bird is dead, he will let it go.
So the wise old man replied " The life of the bird is in your hands."
Use this story when you want your prospects or downlines to take control of their lives or certain decisions they have to make. They are in total control themselves. For example, you want them to make a decision that all distributors must retail. They must know that retailing is important and they must make the decision to retail. Eddy Chai.
